From Steep to Streamlined: Re-imaged reporting experience B2B SaaS web app

The Project aimed to redesign the Report Manager to enhance user experience and feature discoverability. We focused on simplifying navigation, reducing clicks, and modernizing the UI while maintaining familiar workflows, thus enhacing the overall user experince & adaption rate.

Challenge

Users are experiencing difficulty in utilizing certain features of Report Manager and lack a clear understanding of their functionality. The overall design of the application appears complex and overwhelming, making it challenging for users to navigate and utilize its full potential.

My Role & Timeline

  • I led the comprehensive redesign project, fostering collaboration among product managers, the development team, and other stakeholders.


  • To ensure project efficiency and alignment, I implemented daily check-in meetings, facilitated design workshops and reviews, and established clear user experience (UX) goals alongside design sprints and Documentation.


  • The comprehensive redesign spanned 3 months, beginning with in-depth user research to understand user needs and pain points.


Final Thoughts

This redesign project was intense. Getting up to speed on the product knowledge needed to design effective solutions, plus tackling such a massive redesign in just three months? Seriously stretched me as a lead product designer. Blood, sweat, and so much coffee fuelled this one, but seeing the final result, shareholder insights, and user feedback? Totally worth it. I'm beyond happy to have contributed so significantly to something that will be used by various teams across the Arcesium platform.
